- 3 cups basmati rice
- 3 tbsps ghee
- 2 1/2 tsps salt
- 4 cups water
- Wash the rice well
- Drain in a colander for 10 mins.
- Heat the ghee in a large pan
- Add the rice and stir fry until all the rice grains are coated with ghee
- Add salt, water and cook covered on low heat for about 20 mins.
- Serve hot with curry.
